Introduce yourself

Hello, my name is Alessandra Böser, I’m 37 years old and live with my husband Andy in the idyllic town of Forst. Music is a central part of our lives. We both play one or more instruments. I’ve dedicated myself to the clarinet and have been an active member of our local music association since the age of six. In addition to playing music, I serve as Chair of Orchestral Work within the association, where I advocate for the needs of our musicians with the same passion and commitment I bring to my professional life.

Can you tell us a bit about your professional journey and what led you to your current role?

My journey at NDT Global began with an apprenticeship that gave me deep insights into all areas of the company. From Sales and Marketing to Procurement and Warehouse & Logistics. I was especially fascinated by the Warehouse & Logistics department, and I still look back fondly on that time. Many of the decisions I make today are still shaped by the experiences and people who accompanied me back then.

Even during my apprenticeship, I realized that HR was my true calling. Working with and for people has inspired me from the very beginning. So it was a great joy to join the People & Culture team right after completing my training.

Over the past 20 years, I’ve had the opportunity to explore all facets of HR. From payroll and recruiting to training and the role of Business Partner. Today, I serve as Manager People & Culture, with the goal of actively shaping our company culture and supporting our managers and employees in the best possible way. My role combines strategic P&C work with a genuine passion for people and collaboration.

Which initiative/project are you most proud of and why?

Change is a constant companion, whether through digitalization, new structures, or external challenges like the COVID-19 pandemic. I’m proud that we, as a team, have successfully navigated these changes together. Our actions are always guided by the goal of putting the well-being of our employees and our organization at the center.

What fulfills me most is that I’ve been able to actively contribute to the development of our company culture almost from the very beginning at NDT Global. Open communication, mutual respect, and inclusive collaboration are not just buzzwords to me they are values I live by every day.

What is one part of your work that you enjoy doing and why?

What brings me the most joy is working on topics that truly matter to people whether it’s developing new initiatives or engaging in personal conversations. I enjoy listening, offering ideas, and co-creating solutions that have a lasting impact.

I particularly value the international aspect of my work. In my EMEAA region, I collaborate daily with colleagues from countries such as China, Dubai, Ireland, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore and Spain. This cultural diversity greatly enriches my work and constantly reminds me how important it is not just to define values but to truly live them.
