Introduce yourself
I’m Aitor Morales, Service Delivery Manager at NDT Global. I lead our global Service Delivery team, with a focus on bringing IT closer to the business and ensuring that the IT services we provide are consistent, well understood, and continuously improving.
A big part of my role is connecting different perspectives: understanding what our colleagues need, working closely with different teams and stakeholders and helping turn those needs into services and improvements that work across the organization.
Can you tell us a bit about your professional journey and what led you to your current role?
I joined NDT Global in 2017 as the sole IT admin in our Barcelona office. Promoted to IT Support Lead first, IT Support Manager later, and Service Delivery Manager since mid 2026. Over these years I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with different technologies, teams, locations and business needs.
This trajectory allowed me to see from different angles how technology provides value to support the business and our colleagues. My current role gives me the opportunity to lead a global Service Delivery team focused on creating a more consistent and service-oriented experience across NDT Global.
Which initiative/project are you most proud of and why?
One of the things I’m most proud of is not only building our global Operating Model together with Peter Berner, IT Operations and Controls, and Eric Savary, SVP, but also shaping the future of Service Delivery together with our Service Delivery Leadership Team. We are bringing together a global team and establishing clearer service ownership, defining the services IT provides, and introducing more consistent and measurable ways of delivering and improving them.
It's not just about introducing new processes, it is about making it easier for the business to understand what IT provides, who owns each service, and what they can expect from us, while enabling the different IT teams to work together around shared services and outcomes.
What is one part of your work that you enjoy doing and why?
What I enjoy most is turning real business needs, often identified through support trends and interactions with our colleagues, into improvements that can have an impact beyond a single team or location.
That usually means bringing the right people together, understanding different perspectives, and finding a solution that can work consistently across the organization. Seeing something that started as a local need become a better way of working for NDT Global as a whole is probably the most rewarding part of my role.
We are still at the beginning of this journey and there is plenty of work ahead of us, which is also part of what makes it exciting. Seeing the progress we are already making makes me very optimistic about what comes next.
